So I woke up at 5:30 am, which is a lot harder than it sounds considering I was up all night getting sick from a wicked case of influenza. I got up and drug my aching body down to the car and started her up just in time to catch the 2001 Space Odyssey fart montage. I had to listen to the show in the only place I have a sirius radio…my car. When are they going to put Howard 100 & 101 online? And for that matter why can’t you listen to Raw Dog online?
I digress…
I had to pull out of the street as I live in a town where day time running lights woulld most likely bring on unwanted police attention. I listened to the rest of the show from the parking lot out back and laughed as people left for work while I laid sprawled out in a running car with foggy windows. I made it all the way up to shocking revelations before I opened the door for a decent dry heave.
I shut the door..listened for a few minutes and passed out. I caught the rest of the show on the west coast feed.
It was a hell of a way to usher in the new show. Welcome back Howard…Artie Rules!!

I heard through the grape vine that Howard specifically put in his contract that his show is not to be streamed for fear of it being recorded…why he would be worried about it being recorded is beyond me!

Well initially when he was on terrestrial radio he could not stream because of advertising constraints. Radio stations are franchises and there would be no way of regulating advertising capital as if he were being stremed it would be from one station and would be biased to those advertisors that did business with the station streamed.
As far as being recorded goes I found out about a device for recording sirius streams on the Stern Fan Network.
There was recently a news article talking about a website that was streaming his satelite show. As this is a conflict of interest you can see why this move isn’t kosher.
Howard’s been pirated for years. I think he’s only concerned about his advertisors. Which is understandable.

According to goofygc’s goofy experience, the easy way to record any of the sirius show is to get a home kit for any of the sirius device and hook it up to your computer audio card input or any of home stereo sets and just record it. I got one for mine. It’s just 49 bucks maybe cheaper now. So you can listen to the show at home or indoor.
Some of the mp3s can accept line-in and record it. That works with home kit too.
Still some problems when I tried to post here though….. SOS and thanks

How do I make comments? Looks like my comments are not showing or something is wrong about my seeting?

They were talking about that today on the show. I guess Sirius needs to ramp up their servers to handle the bandwidth. When the Howard Stern forum originally came out; before it was called Vagina Corner, they couldn’t stop the site from crashing. So it’s understandable why they haven’t done it yet.
