So I saw this guy wearing a sandwich board during a lunch run the other day and had to snap a quick shot with my camera phone. He was standing on the corner holding this sign with a Santa Claus puppet on his hand. Now I’m not exactly sure what this guy’s beef is or who exactly he has it with, but for him and all other religious zealots out there…just kill yourselves.
You’re not providing a service and no one knows exactly what your crazy message is. I had to look up Revelation 21:8 to try to get an understanding of what he was trying to say. Now I know that Revelations is about the end of days, but does this passage or the fact that he was wearing a Santa Claus puppet on his hand make this any clearer to anyone else?
Revelation 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Does this mean that all parents who tell their kids that Santa is real are going to burn in hell? Don’t get me wrong I’m all about freedom of speech, but at least have a cogent understandable message if your gonna be insane like this.
And by the way, one hell of a message and one hell of a time to convey it. Merry Christmas to you nut job. I wish the 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse would come and take you away in a dusty cloud of vengeance. Again I revert back to my original statement…give us all an early Christmas present and just kill yourself.

I think you need to ask him what it means. Standing back and making assumptions about him and telling him to go to hell and kill himself, well, that’s not very nice, is it?

I am making assumptions. That’s what we do. We make them all the time. If you see a very large barking dog charging you, you run. Fight or flight response.
You don’t see the friendly sloppy kissing bull dog because he’s a large and intimidating animal. All we do is make assumptions. Unconsciously at times, but assuming nonetheless We’re human.
And I’d have to say that this guy was making quite an assumption when he thought this whole scheme up.

People..CHILDREN passing by this on their way to pick up some last minute Christmas presents. I would find that disturbing if I passed by this guy when I was a kid. I’m all about freedom of speech. I think there are better ways to spread your word. That’s sort of a glamorizing jerry springer attempt at faith.
And as for him killing himself…I meant that figuratively. And no it’s not nice, but that’s what compelling content is. Would you have read this post if I had said hell is real now let’s hug? Maybe you would..but you’re here anyways. So mission accomplished..

Ha that’s great. I may be a lying, stealing, lusting, hating, guilty s.o.b. but I think that if you were really honest with yourself who wouldn’t think they were on an Amtrack to hell by these words. But once again we’re human, we make mistakes, we learn from them, and we move on.
I don’t know anyone who is perfect. I’ve read the bible from front to back, attended church every Sunday until I was about 18 years old, I was an alter boy and took Bible classes until I graduated from high school. So I am aware of the word of the lord.
Good?
Yes I think that I am a good person.
Lie?
Yes I’ve lied. Who hasn’t.
Steal?
Yes I stolen. Last time I did I was about 15 years old. So I would have to say yes I have stolen, but it would have appeared that I learned the error of my ways.
Lust?
Again yes I have. How do you fight the urge to procreate? It’s engrained within the fiber of our beings. From the looks of the population I’d have to say that I’m not alone here.
Hate?
This is one everyone has felt. I’m sure even the Dali Lama himself. But it’s how you react to hate that is the true sin. Have I felt anger or hatred in my heart. Sure, but it doesn’t mean that anyone is going to be the benefactor of my rage.
God’s name in vain?
This is one that I am guilty of that only slips out every once and a while. I have no defense other than to say that maybe I’m a little tourettesy. Mea culpa!
Guilty?
Have I been guilty or do I feel guilty. Sure I’ve made mistakes in the past. Youth is a confusing time,
