Just a few shots from a road trip I took this weekend. I traveled from Auburn Hills to Grand Rapids on Friday. Got stuck over-night in GR due to a snow storm. Then drove another 2 1/2 hours North to Traverse City through another snow storm to hang out in -8° windy winter weather. It was actually a lot more fun than it sounds. Here’s a few pics from the road.

Hey! Another Michigander, woo hoo. It’s funny that you went to Grand Rapids because I lived there for 3 months and then some and now am in Traverse City. hah. Great pictures of the weather that came through here too. Very nice. I like your GPS device too, it looks very similar to my own.

Yeah Mother Nature has been having her way with us this year. 2 days ago all of our snow was gone and we were living in a very foggy world. Today I woke up and scraped 3 inches of snow off my car.
I just looked at the weather report and it says we are in for snow for the next 3 days.
Man I can’t wait to be biking again.

Now THAT looks wintry. I don’t think I’d dare go outdoors if that’s what I saw out my window. Brrrr.

Yeah I’m getting tired of digging my car out of the snow. Can’t wait for summer.

Wow that looks cold. Doesn’t ever snow here and with our incredibly hot summer just can’t imagine how cold you are feeling. Maybe my pics will bring some sunlight into your world. You really have captured the beauty of the snow and the coldness it represents.
